The Moov feed pusher runs along programmed routes by following transponders drilled into the ground as well as a 3D orientation sensor. The combination of the transponders and 3D orientation sensor enables the feed pusher to be reliable and consistent. At the end of each route, the feed pusher connects to the charging station and syncs the route data to the JOZ server, which allows JOZ and the DLS service team the ability to analyze and diagnose any issues. Robotic feed pushing provides several benefits for dairy farmers, including an increase in feed intake and milk production, decreased labour time and costs, and improved performance for lower-ranking cows. The Moov runs on two maintenance-free AGM batteries and charges automatically on its docking station.
